Were impeachment about revenge, I would not even entertain the idea. It is about showing our elected officials, from the president on down, that criminality will no longer tolerated by the electorate. It is about showing the world that America will not be ruled by thugs. We must impeach.

Congresspersons and Senators:
I address this letter to the senators and congresspersons, whether Republican or Democrat, whose votes continue to support President Bush. I have listed herein some of my most serious concerns, concerns that would not exist absent your enabling votes of support for this president’s incomprehensible agendas, i.e., he could not have brought us to this pass without your!
This letter is not about politics, by the way, not about my loyalty or disdain for either political party or my choice of candidates in the coming election. A life-long Democrat, I will vote for Ron Paul, a Republican, but a Republican who, unlike the Republicans and Democrats to whom this letter is addressed, has never put his loyalty to the Republican Party before his loyalty to a political party before his loyalty to the American people.
No, this letter concerns the enormous responsibility and power of your roles as our political leaders and your failure to properly exercise that power with the result that Americans are daily losing our inalienable rights and being threatened by a corrupt and renegade president and his corrupt and renegade administration.
This citation of conditions is not complete by any means, just a brief glimpse at the world your votes have birthed, your votes in support of this president, this emotionally, psychologically, and intellectually crippled man, this man whose every thought, every motive, and every act, are symptoms of his diseases.
Like you, I have studied enough history to know the likely consequences to mankind of being led by a diseased and limited man whose symptoms are evident in his love of torture over compassion, death over life, destruction over construction, and devolution over evolution. The conditions described herein are the result of your votes in support of his agenda, or your cumulative silence on those occasions when your voices should have loudly and vehemently protested in our behalf. The silence on those occasions was and continues to be deafening.
Will you, I would like to know, still support him WHEN:
** not just the FDA and EPA, but every agency created to protect Americans from corporate greed has been made toothless under his administration,
** unknown numbers of people, Americans included, are being seriously harmed by FDA-approved genetically modified foods, the same foods that produced morbid diseases when fed to animals in laboratories?
** he has allowed the development and is now allowing the dissemination (in Africa) of genetically-modified seeds that do not themselves yield other seeds so that in time all seeds must be purchased, every growing season, from the owners of the genetically modified seeds, the Gates Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, Monsanto Corporation, etc., all of which have invested many millions in this project in cooperation with the country of Norway.
(When a few corporations/foundations manipulate via humanitarian pretensions (to feed the world’s poor) to methodically contaminate normal yielding seeds with non-yielding genetically-altered seeds which must be re-purchased every growing season and they will own the world supply of all non-yielding seeds, it is difficult to ignore the potential for abuse, a potential magnified many times over in light of Nick Rockefeller’s well- documented agenda to eliminate that half of the world’s population that does not rise to his standards.
** WHEN we are being killed by dangerous prescription drugs rubber-stamped by the FDA, an agency your president has rendered toothless?
(Adding insult to injury, the manufacturers of defective medical devices- implanted defibrilators, for instance, have just been granted immunity from civil suit - as long as the same toothless FDA has approved the devices.)
** WHEN prescribed drugs that are killing people are not pulled from the shelves until, as in the case of Merck's Vioxx (FDA approved in 1999), 20,000 have died?
(Even after paying off all the pesky lawsuits, Merck will be billions ahead because Vioxx was allowed to remain on the shelves long enough for Merck to accumulate enough additional profit from this product to cover anticipated wrongful death civil suits. What are 20,000 deaths to the killers at Merck when billions of dollars are at stake?)
** WHEN BigPharma has bought enough votes to ensure passage of CODEX, a program outlawing the purchase of vitamins and minerals without a doctor's prescription?
(Even with a prescription, the minimal mandated dosages ensure that the public will not benefit from the nutrient - Pharmaceutical companies cannot make a profit on well people!)
** WHEN twelve-year-old school girls continue to die as a result of Merck’s generous contributions to politicians, contributions that ensured passage of a mandate in 16 states requiring their inoculation with Merck's HPV vaccine - a vaccine that MAY protect them against two of the 100 viruses that cause cervical cancer - a vaccine that has already killed three young girls in the year it has been on the market and harmed an unknown number of others?
Mandated vaccinations with this “financial coup vaccine,” when death from cervical cancer has declined over 78 percent in the last two decades, testifies to Merck's audacity, its brazenness; it is, however, just one of the countless renegade, out-of-control corporations now running - and ruining -America, but with a significant difference: while the other renegade corporations just steal our dollars, Merck and the other renegade pharmaceutical companies are willing to steal our lives for the sake of their profits, profits that run into the many billions of dollars every year (billions we contribute to their bottom line every time we use one of their products!).
** WHEN legislators are free to trade campaign contributions for our right to protect our children against mandates like that described above, the concern that these same politicians will sell our right to protect our children against mandates requiring them to participate in research projects of the pharmaceutical companies, laboratory experiments, is a valid one. Where does the selling of our children's welfare stop, Congressmen, Senators, where?
Will you still vote to support this president and his administration?
While the dollars we earn are worth less each day, this president, with the support of your votes, is spending $338 MILLION A DAY, EACH DAY, BORROWED MONEY that we can never hope to repay, TO:
** kill Iraqi’s (men, women, and children),
** purposefully target and bomb their hospitals,
** purposefully destroy/pollute their drinking water,
** target and bomb their power stations (thereby sentencing to death babies in incubators, the sick who cannot live without dialysis and artificial life support, etc.).
** award additional contracts to corporations that have already been cited for providing our military man and women with defective equipment,
(He rewards our men and women in uniform for the needless and unnecessary risks that inferior equipment poses by proposing, just warning us just a couple of weeks ago of his intention to CUT FUNDING FOR THEIR 2009 MEDICAL CARE, a year when the number of veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan is expected to increase 26 percent!)
** reward corporations with contracts (to the tune of billions of dollars) in which he and/or his vice president have financial interests!
** have detention centers built by Haliburton Corporation (from whom V.P. Cheney receives a regular check) for “potential terrorists,” (or “home grown terrorists” per Rep. Jane Harman, D-California, who includes in this category: animal rights activists, anti-abortion protesters, etc.)
Tell me, if you can, how you loyal supporters of this president and his agendas can justify the unbelievable profits being enjoyed by the oil companies (the largest in history!) since your president began his war, while we pay $3.00 plus a gallon for fuel and must choose between paying our quickly escalating power bills and paying our rent or mortgages or our insurance premiums? Can you?
Tell me, if you can, how you justify your president spending $338 million each day on KILLING, CRIPPLING, AND DESTROYING when that money would:
** provide a workable health care program for all Americans,
** support the school lunch programs he wants to eliminate,
** provide funds for scholarships and grants
** build literally hundreds of thousands of homes for Americans,
** finance the building of manufacturing plants (which should by law not be permitted to outsource anything except products!) to help rebuild the American economy that he has, with your supporting votes, managed to bring to its knees,
** build new bridges, highways, public buildings,
** create mass transit systems in all our major cities thereby lessening our dependence on oil,
** pay for research that will enable us to meet the coming challenges of global warming,
Can you, our Senators and Representatives, look us in the eye, look our children and grandchildren (those who will suffer as a result of your unconscionable votes in support of a criminal) in the eye, and justify your support of this president- a man who considers the RIGHT TO TORTURE more important than the RIGHT TO LIVE and the RIGHT TO CONSTITUTIONAL PROTECTIONS, rights and protections that many Americans have given their lives to defend? CAN YOU?
Explain, if you can, your loyalty to a president who lives for the day when critics of his leadership and agendas can be instantly silenced by legislation and executive orders and acts, bills, etc., that he has long had in place for that day.
---laws that give him the power and control of a totalitarian dictator, the power and control of God!
---laws that permit torture and other abuses so terrible that they will keep most men silent when they see their neighbor arrested in the dead of night - for fear that they will be next? Can you?
Will you celebrate with your president when he realizes his dream, when he replaces our Constitution with his “NEW AMERICAN CONSTITUTION,” a necessity, he will tell us, in that the former Constitution with its troublesome Bill of Rights and Amendments provided rights to the terrorists and thus interfered with our WAR ON TERROR. WILL YOU?
